My name is Kimberly Sanzo and I am a speech-language pathologist working in a school system with students who are Deaf and hard-of-hearing. I am committed to creating fun ways for students to continue to improve in their speech production, language acquisition, and auditory skills.
I received my B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Vermont and my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Gallaudet University. I have worked in acute care hospitals, outpatient centers, home care, and skilled nursing facilities. I have given presentations on the use of technology in therapy as well as functional therapy ideas at the Conference for Educating Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students. I am PROMPT certified and trained in Visual Phonics. I am highly proficient in American Sign Language and use it daily in my treatment.
